Han Xing, Chen Qiuhuo and Shi Ting
Investigates the energy consumption of eight green office buildings and seven traditional office buildings. The results show that the average energy consumption of the green office buildings is 36.21 kg/(m2·a),which is lower than that of the traditional office buildings (42.20 kg/(m2·a)) and the indicator value of efficient energy conservation for the office buildings of municipal agency of Shanghai (42 kg/(m2·a)). The energy saving rate of green office buildings is about 14.19%, but the energy consumption of some green office buildings is high. Estimates the energy consumption of the air conditioning systems in two kinds of buildings, and obtains the average energy consumption of air conditioning system in green office buildings to be about 11.64 kg/(m2·a), which is lower than that of the traditional office buildings (12.83 kg/(m2·a)). The corresponding energy saving rate is 9.31%, which is lower than the energy saving rate of whole building.
